About the Game

Despite having eaten two bento boxes at noon, Chio Aozora's stomach is rumbling again!
"It's been a long time since I last had a croquette. I really miss that crispy and delicious texture."

The familiar aroma of croquettes is so tempting, but Chio has forgotten her money!
"I may have left the money in my textbook but I forgot to bring it back..."

Collect 380 yen in the shopping streets of Nagano to buy the croquette Chio has been dreaming of!
"But... where should I start?"

Counting the stock, running errands, collecting urban legends, playing word games, and even rummaging through trash bins can all get you precious coins!
"I never thought I'd have to resort to rummaging through the trash..."


The game features simple puzzles, mild horror depictions (no chase scene), multiple endings, and all sorts of quirky elements. Of course, there are also croquettes!

Tips for "How to Buy a 380 Yen Croquette":

• Yen coins are hidden all over Nagano! Investigate trash bins, sinks, park slides, vending machines and other places to find the lost coins in the streets and alleys!
  
• Be a good citizen by helping others! Kind-hearted Chio Aozora will assist the residents of Nagano with various requests, from finding lost items and counting the stock at the convenience store to investigating mysterious cases and tailing suspicious people... There's nothing a high school girl can't do!
  
• Uncover the hidden mysteries of Nagano! A password-locked notebook with strange clues—could it hint at a treasure location? Box arrays, Penrose stairs, old house exploration, word games... Solving these puzzles might lead to unexpected rewards...
  
• Receive a croquette from kind-hearted people! There might also be ways to get a croquette without collecting coins. Maybe someone will lend money, maybe someone will give you their croquettes, or perhaps even a free meal from the croquette vendor... All these choices will lead to different endings!
  
• Deal with unexpected situations caused by wrong decisions! During the coin collection, some choices might lead Chio into dangerous situations or even encounters with terrifying urban legends!

Super Simple Controls:
Use the arrow keys to move the character, and press the ESC/X key to open the menu. Press the space bar to interact with NPCs/objects in front of you.

A high school girl who loves croquettes. She has to collect 380 yen to buy the croquette she longs for because she forgot her money.


Chio Aozora's best friend, who is always there for her (and so is Chio!), but can be a bit of a chatterbox sometimes.


The boy Chio Aozora has a crush on. He seems to be a bad student who often skips school, but he is gentle to Chio.
