Distant future. A black hole emerges in Earth’s orbit, releasing a huge amount of anomalous energy. Earth and everything near it is destroyed. 

Near the spaceship “Miner”, surrounded by debris, an engineer comes to his senses, left completely alone. He remembers nothing about who he is, where he came from, or how he ended up here, in the cold, endless space…
