Bake Until Done

A new bakery has opened down the street from your bakery. Your once bustling shop is now empty, and something odd is happening to your old customers. You sneak in to investigate and find a magical cookbook and the sinister sweets that it has brought to life. Take a page out of that magical cookbook and bake wholesome muffins to stop these devilish desserts from putting the town in a trance.

Explore the Kitchen

In this roguelite, explore expansive kitchens, moving between countertops, tables, and carts. Move along a grid in turn with other baked goods and elements in the game. Each level offers different challenges as you find your way from your muffin tin to a muffin box that takes you to the next level.

Fight Desserts

Throughout each kitchen level, you’ll find less than savory treats trying to stop your progress from cinnamon buns unraveling to whip you to macarons shooting their filling at you.

Fight off desserts by pulling morsels off of your muffin and throwing them at your enemies. Some morsel types have special effects. For example, banana morsels make enemies or objects slip. Berries can alter the physics of the world around you and be used against enemy and puzzle alike.

Find Ingredients

Gather ingredients throughout each level to bake new muffins when your muffin tin starts to empty. Some ingredients are common with straightforward effects. Others are rare with exotic effects, like granting your muffin abilities such as dodging or a periodic extra turn.

Solve Puzzles

Levels will have puzzles which block your passage. Push the right objects onto a scale to hit the right weight. Boil water to increase the heat and melt sugar obstacles. Move rolling pins to unblock paths. Solve combinations of puzzles to make it through more complicated levels as you progress.

Bake New Muffins

Every few levels you’ll have the opportunity to bake new muffins with the ingredients you’ve gathered along the way. Learn about the magical properties of different ingredients and their combinations to give yourself an edge as you progress.

Some ingredients will make your muffin harder to hurt. Others will boost your attacks. Each mix-in, like blueberries or chocolate chips, offers a different kind of morsel to throw.
