Dreaming with You unfolds as an immersive third-person adventure that takes place inside the shared dream of Michael and Sarah, two adults who are struggling with carrying the weight of their past.

Michael, a 28-year-old software developer whith only one dream, and that's to be capable of providing for his family by selling the game that he's working on. However, a tragic car accident stole his wife and kid away from him. Two years have past since the incident, and even though he laughs and smiles from time to time he's not the man he used to be. He started to drink with his friends more and more, night after night, he rejects any woman that might like him, and he starts to look more like a walking empty shell. His unfinished game however still served him as a guiding light because he still works on it everyday in order to fulfill his promise.

Sarah, a brilliant and dedicated 27-year-old doctor, loved helping people in need, and that's partly why she had little time for personal connections. The other reason is that due to many past betrayals, she nearly lost all faith in men. That's why, in her free time, she indulges in gaming, a passion that has been with her since childhood. Yet, the joy she once found in this activity starts to fade away as she doesn't realize that overworking herself, even though it saves lives, consumes hers in return.

Their paths were meant to cross on a date organized by well-meaning friends, but both declined as they always had in the past years. However, destiny had other plans for them this time. The night before the date, they fell asleep and woke up in a shared dream world that mirrored the unfinished game Michael was working on.

As they find themselves kidnapped, they need to work together in order to escape. With this said, they embark on a quest filled with puzzles that mirror their shared love for gaming, sprinkling the adventure with references to beloved games, movies, anime, and memes.

As Michael and Sarah navigate this breathtaking dreamworld, they discover that their newly formed connection reaches a new level, one that goes beyond their past grief and heartbreaks.
