About This Game

Dust Walkers is an Action Strategy game set 100s of years in the future. Collect resources, build defenses, and defend your base on a hostile planet. Recruit DUST WALKERS to go on dangerous expeditions to extract Dust, the most valuable resource in the galaxy. Find weapons, level up, customize upgrades, and build a team of the most powerful Dust Walkers you can.

MANAGEMENT

Collect Dust Walkers in the meta game by doing operations for money. New Recruits will come after each run and will have unique names and starting stats.

Recruits

Recruits can be hired and modified before a run. Find the best of the best! But don't forget to get higher rarity recruits by unlocking them in the research tree.

Explore a deep Research Tree:

In the Research Tree you will be able to upgrade 3 different areas of gameplay.

Recruits

In the recruits section you can upgrade your recruits starting stats, gain new recruits rarities, and unlock new Dust Walker classes.

Upgrades

In the upgrades section you can improve your Dust Walkers operational upgrades. With upgrades including, defense drones that circle around you shooting nearby enemies, or increasing your reload speed for each enemy hit.

Buildings

You can also upgrade your buildings and command capabilities. Upgrades for your defense barriers and turrets allow you to specialize your defenses in an operation.

Each of these allow you to take on more enemies and tougher bosses.

OPERATIONS

You will need at least one Dust Walker per operation. In an operation you will need to defend your base and resource as much Dust as possible before the hostile bosses destroy your base.

Base of Operations

At the start of the operation your Dust Walker will be deployed next to your base. You must defend this base with your life. If the base is lost the mission is over.

Bosses

Every few mins a boss will spawn from the edge of the map and start moving towards your Base of operation. They will kill anything in their path. Stop them before they get to your base.

Leveling Up

Level up and choose upgrades you have unlocked in the research tree. Each time you level up you will be able to choose from 3 different upgrades of either a based stat or operational upgrade unlocked in the Research tree.

Resourcing

On the map are resource locations. You will need to go out and capture these points to start mining Dust. As your resource collectors drop off resources at your base you will have more money to build defenses around your resource locations.

Build Defenses

Once you have a resource point setup Turrets and walls to defend the location. this is the best way to give yourself time to do other objectives as bosses will be moving to take out your base.

Complete objectives

On the map there are objectives that will give you experience points for completing as well as items, such as weapons caches, drop pods, and sensor posts. Find and collect higher rarity weapons, and equipment. Each objective gives you different bonuses and completing as many as you can while defending your base is important to be able to take on bosses. Become a boss! by fitting your weapons with Boss attacks.

End of an Operation

If your base is destroyed or all your Dust Walkers have died you will fail the operation. After the operation is done you will see how much Dust you collected and what new recruits you can hire. Use the money you collect wisely as you will need to do more operations and hire more recruits and it will always cost you something.

Good luck out there.

Controls

In Dust Walkers you are able to control up to 3 Dust Walkers at a time, either individually or all together as a squad.

The game supports WASD, click to move, and controller.
