About the Game

Forbidden Art is a VR escape room puzzle game where you escape from a killer's secret lair.
Start in the dungeon and work your way through secret passages, studies, morgues, vents, chapel, and more to escape without being seen by the killer.

🔹 REALISTIC GRAPHICS


The beauty of VR is that it allows players to be fully immersed in the environment. We created the backgrounds with a focus on reality to give players the ultimate immersion experience. Feel the killer's lair in VR, a converted abandoned chapel in a remote village in South Korea.


🔹 ROTATION & HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT





This feature was added for players who play seated or are unable to stand for long periods of time due to health reasons.
The rotation function provides instant and smooth rotation and allows players to choose the way they want to play.
Height adjustment offers crouching, standing, and a hybrid mode that allows players to operate both modes with a single button.

🔹 LIGHT SOURCE


Some areas in the game are very dark, to the point where you can't proceed without a light source. You can use a lighter or flashlight to help you see better in these areas.


🔹 WRITABLE DIARY


While it is possible to solve all puzzles without taking notes, we have added note-taking to speed up some sections and for overall player enjoyment and convenience.


🔹 6m X 6m ROOMSCALE MODE


"Forbidden Art" is a VR game that supports "6m X 6m Roomscale Mode".
The entire map of the game is built to fit a 6m X 6m real-world space, and players can actually walk around and play in all the spaces in the game instead of just pressing buttons on the controller.
If players have access to a 6m X 6m play area, we highly recommend playing in the "6m X 6m Roomscale Mode".

Of course, we realize that not all players have access to a 6m by 6m space.
Therefore, we also offer the "Controller Movement Mode", which allows players who do not have the space to enjoy "Forbidden Art" in VR without any restrictions.


🔹 HUNDREDS OF OBJECTS TO INTERACT WITH


You can grap and interact almost every object in the game, and some of them have special interactions.



🔸 There are no in-game hints to help you escape.
Some of the puzzles can be quite challenging. However, all the clues are in the space you're trapped in. Use the items you have in your inventory, observe the space carefully, and look for ways to escape.
Use all your abilities to escape the dangerous and terrifying hideout created by a psychopathic killer!



::C A U T I O N::
Before first starting the game, make sure there is enough cleared space surrounding you,
with no furniture or any other items around, which may cause injury whilst wearing the headset.
Ensure all motion controllers are fully charged.
