Glider Sim

Glider Sim is a professional Paragliding and Hang Gliding simulator built for real pilots in mind and is aiming to achieve photorealistic graphics! You can fly in Free Flight mode, Multiplayer mode or Challenges. The sim can be played outside VR or inside VR. We recommend playing in Virtual Reality as it provides the highest level of immersion!

Glider Types

The sim includes:

• Additional FPV (First Person View) Racing Drone.

The FPV Racing Drone has 3 flight modes including: Auto Hover, Angle and Acro.

Scenery

3 default maps are included:

• Sun Valley, ID, United States

• Walenstadt - Switzerland (Swiss Alps)

• Grand Tetons, USA.

The scenery is derived from real world satellite imagery and overlaid with high resolution textures, grass, trees and wildflowers! The scenery also includes custom placed roads, houses, buildings, power lines, soaring eagles, cruising airplanes and more! Each map has 100+ launch points to choose from!

Earth Online Plus - World Steaming Service (30 day free trial included):

This is a premium paid feature that allows full access to the entire planet! Powered by Cesium terrain streaming technology and Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles. A 30-day free trial is included with Glider Sim, after that  a subscription or access pass is required for this service. 

Weather System:

Experience the realism of our meticulously crafted wind and thermal system in the Glider Sim. Tailor your flying conditions by adjusting the wind direction and strength, as well as the time of day. Watch as the sun angle and terrain types dynamically influence thermal activity and cloud formation. Our synchronized weather system ensures a consistent experience across multiplayer sessions, allowing you to share the skies with friends.

Harness the power of ridge lift and thermals to extend your flight, and toggle wind particles on or off to visualize the invisible forces at play. This feature is an invaluable training tool for novice glider pilots, providing a clear understanding of wind currents.

Adding to the immersion, you'll find eagles soaring through the skies, instinctively seeking out and riding the thermals. Join them in the dance of the winds and master the art of gliding in Glider Sim.

Flight Physics:

Experience state of the art flight physics where each cell of the glider is modeled and has physics applied! You can do maneuvers such as wingovers, spirals, stalls, and swoops. Watch out and don't let your wing collapse!

Scored Challenges:

Each map includes a list of Scored Challenges you can fly to put your flying skills to the test! Challenges include Speed Flying challenges, and XC (Cross Country) Races with more coming soon. Each challenge includes monthly leaderboards so you can compare with where you skills stand amongst all the other pilots in the world!
