About the Game

MatchR is a Match-3 roguelike RPG that combines a battle system inspired by Puzzle Quest with the replayability of roguelikes like Slay the Spire.

MATCH YOUR WAY UP

Battle your way through your colleagues to the big bosses of MatchR. You can win battles using several methods:

• Charging your mana through matches then activating your skills,
• Making matches using your specialty orb - different for each character - which will deal damage to the enemy,
• Planning your plays around your character traits to gain as much power as possible.

EVER CHANGING RUNS

You will begin each run with a single character trait and loot or buy new ones along the way. They will help you in various ways such as: giving you boost in powers on match-4s, whenever you use your skills, strengthening your bombs... Find the ones that suit and enhance your playstyle!

CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER

With 6 playable characters and 3 starting character traits for each, you will find the one that suits you the most, and with costumes and backgrounds to unlock, they will even look different every run!

STICKER COLLECTIONS

You will be able to spend your MatchR tokens on the capsule machine to gain stickers between runs to decorate your ID Badge and apply their effects, helping you in the subsequent runs. They range from common to unique, plain to shiny, and even two stickers of the same type can apply a different value or percentage on its effect. You can also find rare misprints reducing the size of the sticker, allowing you to put even more of them on your badge! MatchR rewards finding perfect stickers, so keep on trying!

ADAPTATIVE DIFFICULTY

Is the game too easy now that your badge is full of stickers? Don’t worry, you can turn on new challenges which will make your run harder but also more rewarding, so try to put your skills to the test!
