Misc Games, the creators of the highly-popular commercial fishing franchises Fishing: North Atlantic and Fishing: Barents Sea, proudly present their brand-new title: Ships At Sea. This exciting release introduces multiplayer co-op and competitive modes, delivering the dynamic gameplay experience fans have been eagerly awaiting.

Ships At Sea, the next generation of ship simulation, introduces service and cargo vessels for the first time. Build your career in service, cargo, or commercial fishing as you venture into the untamable Norwegian Sea. Join a company with your friends to collaborate on tasks and missions, share resources, or run your own company in the same session to compete against others in a shared multiplayer world.

In partnership with Nvidia, we are proud to introduce the cutting-edge WaveWorks water shader, which delivers a cinematic-quality ocean simulation. Complementing this, we've implemented a fully overhauled, physically based buoyancy system to ensure vessels of all sizes behave realistically on the water. To deepen player immersion, the dynamic weather system is built around two core components that work in harmony to bring the world to life. From rain and fog to lightning and storms, these elements create a vivid, ever-changing environment where no two journeys feel the same, adding realism and unpredictability to every maritime journey. 

Above all, Ships At Sea takes a bold step forward by allowing players to explore authentically recreated harbors in Lofoten, Norway. Immerse yourself in the vibrant port life—visit shops to purchase tools and equipment, or stop by the shipyard to upgrade, maintain, and repair your vessels.

To ensure a fully engaging maritime experience, Ships At Sea incorporates advanced technologies to enhance gameplay quality. The game supports Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation and AMD FSR 3 & 4 Upscaling, boosting performance by generating new frames and improving FPS. Additionally, Intel® XeSS is supported, and color settings can be adjusted to accommodate players with color vision deficiencies.

• Company Feature: Join a company with friends to share resources and complete tasks, either collectively on the same boat or individually with your ships. Alternatively, you can create separate companies within the same session to compete for success.

  • Cargo Transporter: Master the reworked cargo system, efficiently stack and place goods onboard your ship, laying the foundation for container ships.

  • Service Operator: Command a service ship to conduct maintenance and critical repairs to maritime infrastructure and support other vessels. 

  • Commercial Fishing: Start with basic equipment and progress to advanced techniques like jigging, longline, and net fishing to catch diverse species such as halibut, salmon, and spotted catfish.

• Authentic Wheelhouse Experience: Operate fully functional instruments in the wheelhouse, including:

  • Sonar with three distinct modes (history, forward, and 360° views).

  • Radar, Radio, and Autopilot systems for precise navigation and communication.

• Expansive Open-World Map: Discover the Lofoten region of Norway in a realistic 46 x 46 km map with a true-to-life 1:1 scale.

• Boat Class Certificates: Progress through different classes to unlock and pilot advanced vessels.
