About This Game

The Nihil War is set in a fictional world, where fantastical creatures and realism meet.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity got divided into two whole different lifestyles, one that lives inside a bunker and one outside of it. The people that live inside a bunker bring the old world's technology with them while the people outside it build a new civilization from scratch, and this causes significant friction between them and set the main plot of the game.

The main character, Elpizo Rajo, is a young prince who has been living outside the bunker his whole life.
One day he got mixed up with political intrigues and got thrown out of his kingdom and needed to rely on the bunker people to unravel the mystery of his father's (the king's) murderer and take back his kingdom.

Bringing modern technology to the “medieval world” will be the main attraction in The Nihil War’s plot point and players can use that technology to their advantage during the game, such as researching new weapons, new tech to improve resource collection, and many more.

The game is divided into three different gameplay genres:

In the platformer section, the player will mainly move in 2 directional lanes (left and right) but can also interact with background objects, or change the movement path to access other areas using the action button. The game also implements physical puzzles and nonphysical puzzle elements in the platformer part.

In the base management section, players can manage the use of resources, build various types of facilities, recruit mercenaries and soldiers to fight in the war, and do many other managerial tasks.

The last element is the war section, in which players are given the freedom to control each battalion to achieve the objective. The mechanics will be turn-based and players will be given the freedom to move without sticking to a grid.
